Job summary

Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The unit handles pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with a patient population of 1:4-5 and about 100 daily patients.

This full-time night shift offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates with 2+ years of ED RN experience, plus relocation assistance and a strong benefits package. Level 3 trauma, chest pain, and stroke receiving center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of true, recent Emergency Department RN experience.
• Active Texas RN license.
• BLS required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients in the ED.
• Maintain patient safety and high-quality care with responsible documentation.
• Collaborate with EMS and hospital teams to streamline patient flow.

Our Emergency Department unit is a Level 3 trauma center, Chest pain accredited center, stroke receiving center, average 100 patients per day, around 20-30 EMS ambulances per day.

• Grad of Accredited Program
