Job summary

Qualifications

• English language proficiency as required by VA guidelines.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by ACEN/CCNE or equivalent.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted RN license in the United States; GNT exception allows temporary appointment.
• Foreign-trained nurses require degree equivalency validation (ICD).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership and creative approaches to the management of complex patient care in the ED.
• Adhere to VA nursing standards and licensing requirements; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
