Job summary

Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee day-to-day emergency department operations, lead telemetry staff, and coordinate patient care across units.

The role requires California RN license, BSN, BLS and ACLS, EKG and NIHSS within 30 days, and a minimum of 3 years of clinical leadership experience. A $25K sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must pass EKG test within 30 days
• Must complete NIHSS within 30 days
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Lead telemetry staff and coordinate care for telemetry/progressive care patients
• Interpret patient information to meet needs and respond to changes
• Ensure staff competency, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Manage staffing and scheduling to optimize care and budget
• Interview/hire staff and ensure orientation for new employees
• Maintain records of licensure, certifications, and ongoing education
• Collaborate with physicians and departments to improve patient care processes
