HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department in Texas. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, using established nursing models.

You will educate patients and families about conditions, plans, medications, and follow-up steps, and respond quickly to requests while maintaining advocacy for patients and families in a busy ED setting.

Qualifikationen

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• ENPC within 6 months of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date.
• TNCC within 6 months of employment start date.

Aufgaben

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessments.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the patient record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients/families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as diet and exercise, for future self-management.
