Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Registered Nurse to coordinates and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED environment. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, document care thoroughly, and advocate for patients and families.

You will teach patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps, while ensuring safe and effective pain management and timely response to patient needs.

Qualifications

• The RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care following state and specialty standards.
• Proficient in collaboration with medical providers and care teams to ensure outcomes.
• Ability to teach patients and families about conditions, plans, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain and documents care in medical records promptly.
• Performs procedures and monitoring as ordered by providers.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, plans, medications and follow-up.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.
