UofL Health is seeking a Hospital-Based Registered Nurse at JHHS Med Center East - UMC in Louisville, KY. The RN delivers nursing care across age groups, using the nursing process and evidence-based practice to support safe and effective outcomes.

The role involves leading care coordination with the team, planning individualized care, and ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes. A KY RN license and BSN preferred for advancement are encouraged.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• KY RN licensure or compact license required.
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required for some areas.
• Two years of hospital patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to patients across age groups using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor effects per policy and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with patient/family and care team; develop age-appropriate plans.
• Assess, teach, and evaluate patient and family education throughout care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
