Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• New-hire Associate Degree RN must start a BSN within one year and complete within three years of hire (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts systematic, comprehensive assessments of patient health status from admission to discharge across the care continuum.
• Independently administers medications per licensure authority and documents administration in a timely manner.
• Plans care using current scientific knowledge with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Identifies and prioritizes patient problems based on assessment data and goals.
• Implements nursing care interventions to meet patient and family needs while ensuring safety and care goals.
• Educates patient/family and evaluates outcomes of teaching to promote understanding and satisfaction.
