Job summary

BETH ISRAEL DEACONESS HOSPITAL MILTON in Milton, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This 32-hour per week, rotating shift role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced ED, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and ED staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS required within 12 months).

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care medical-surgical experience required, Emergency nursing experience preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within twelve months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients using the Nursing Process and ED protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ED staff to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Adhere to infection control policies and patient safety standards.
• Participate in hand-offs and care coordination across shifts and units.
