Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a dynamic unit-based setting. The role requires current Arizona RN licensure or a compact state license, along with BLS certification.

The position involves adherence to nursing standards, comprehensive assessments, and collaboration with the care team. Responsibilities include implementing the nursing plan of care, evaluating patient responses, and supporting orientation of new staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program.
• Certification/Licensure: Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
• Certification/Licensure: Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Unit Specific Requirements: Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire.
• Pediatrics: PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 6 months of hire
• Intensive Care Unit/ Progressive Care Unit: ACLS certification within hire and Basic EKG competency within 30 days
• Women’s Services: NRP and ACLS and STABLE within defined timelines; basic fetal monitoring courses

Responsabilités

• The nurse provides evidence-based care to prevent Healthcare Acquired Conditions and hospital readmissions.
• The nurse practices standard precautions during patient contact and while handling contaminated materials.
• Nursing assessments are completed according to hospital and unit policies and standards.
• Collects pertinent data from the patient, significant others, and health care providers.
• A comprehensive patient history and physical is completed with biophysical, psychosocial, environmental and discharge planning needs.
• Involves the patient and family to formulate a plan of care based on identified needs.
• Nursing care is based on standards of patient care and is coordinated with other disciplines.
