Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Louisville, KY. The role supports a newly expanded ED with multiple beds and fast-paced patient flow.

The nurse will implement the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold standards of care under the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act. Full-time with a 3rd shift and orientation will be provided.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky license is required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• BSN degree is required, unless grandfathered or hired as a Staff RN prior to Oct 1, 2013.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop plans of care.
• Provide care according to policy and procedure.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions.
• Demonstrate organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrate leadership and critical thinking.
