Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a registered nurse to support the fast-paced Emergency Department. You will deliver nursing care to patients from neonate to geriatric, following the nursing process and hospital policies.

The ED handles over 170 patients daily and is a STEMI receiving center and Primary Stroke Center, with an orientation program that encourages autonomy and teamwork within a multidisciplinary group.

Qualifications

Active Kentucky License required.
BCLS required.
ACLS required.
PALS required.
NIHSS certification/competency required.

Responsibilities

Implement the nursing process for each patient from infancy to geriatric.
Promote positive patient outcomes and quality of care within policy.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Participate in unit-based and hospital governance councils.
