PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time 0.90 FTE position offers variable shifts and start times 1100, 1300, 1500. Relocation assistance may be available.

You will deliver direct patient care across a wide range of acuity levels, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and maintain documentation in the EHR. Ongoing education and professional growth are encouraged.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Ability to independently manage cardiac, complex medical-surgical, pediatric and trauma patients.
• Proven clinical competence and strong critical thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care.
• Performing rapid assessments and prioritizing treatment based on patient acuity.
• Documenting care accurately and efficiently within the electronic health record.
• Coordinating care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Delegating patient care activities appropriately based on team member competency and scope of practice.
• Promoting patient safety, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient experiences.
• Participating in quality improvement, infection prevention, and departmental initiatives.
• Maintaining clinical excellence through ongoing education and professional development.
