Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role requires a CA RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with NIHSS within the first week of hire and CPI certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged.
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Department Registered Nurse performs assessments appropriate to the patient's clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs assessments completely and accurately including physical (e.g., pain, skin breakdown, risk for falls), psychological (cognition/communication), social status and other patient needs.
