Sharp Tri-City Medical Center in Vista, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). The role requires a CA RN license and BLS; ACLS is required on hire with PALS and NIH Stroke Scale within set timeframes.

Minimum ED experience is preferred, with possible consideration of 2 years in acute care if ED experience is limited. The position is full-time and located on-site in California.

Qualifications

• Six months of Emergency experience as an RN; two years in acute care if no ED experience.
• California RN license (Board of RN) required.
• ACLS required on hire; PALS within 180 days; NVCI within 90 days; NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and develop, implement and evaluate interdisciplinary plans of care.
• Maintain professional standards of conduct and ethics per department guidelines.
• Provide education to patients, families, caregivers and health professionals.
• Supervise other staff, students and volunteers as appropriate.
• Protect patient rights and ensure safe, infection-controlled environment.
