Riverview Freestanding Emergency Room in Fishers, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for Emergency Department coverage. The role focuses on initial patient assessments, lab work, point-of-care testing, and administrative tasks essential to patient care.

Collaboration with physicians occurs for discharge planning and patient education at discharge from the Emergency Department. Required: Graduate of an accredited RN program, Indiana RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC certifications.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program by date of hire.
• Minimum: Two (2) years of Critical Care experience.
• Preferred: Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience.

Responsabilidades

• Triages patients presenting to the Emergency Department, prioritizing based on severity.
• Assesses patient condition via visual evaluation, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates with care team according to policies.
• Collaborates with care team on discharge or admission processes.
• Charts all patient information in the EMR and maintains accurate records.
• Discharges patients with complete instructions and ensures understanding and transportation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
