Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing.
• Two years of Critical Care experience.
• Two years of Emergency Department experience (preferred).
• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Indiana.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC certifications required or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Triages patients in the Emergency Department based on severity.
• Assess patient condition through clinical evaluation and vital signs.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures as prescribed.
• Monitors patient status and communicates changes to care team.
• Collaborates with the care team for discharge or admission planning.
• Charts patient history, conditions, treatments, and updates EMR accurately.
• Discharges patients with instructions and ensures understanding and transportation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
