Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on night shifts. This role includes a sign-on bonus up to $15K and requires BLS, ACLS, and PALS with NIH preferred.

The unit features a 38-bed ED and handles high patient volume with a focus on stroke and STEMI care. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, planning and implementing care, coordinating with ED staff, and documenting care in the patient record.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs patient assessments, evaluates developmental age, organizes data into a plan of care, carries out plan to achieve outcomes, provides patient care as per needs and plan, oversees activities of staff, identifies teaching opportunities, communicates concerns to Charge Nurse/Manager/physician, documents care in patient records.
