Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center’s Emergency Department in Snellville, GA is hiring a Staff RN for full-time night shifts. The department sees a high patient volume and provides acute care, stroke and STEMI services with fast response and strong teamwork.

Join a team including ED Flow Coordinators, paramedics, techs and support staff. BLS required; ACLS/PALS and NIH (preferred) must be obtained swiftly after hire.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia required.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS required for RN; NIH preferred and must be obtained within timeframe.
• Hospital/nursing experience in ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect health data.
• Plan and implement care; monitor and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate care with ED team and family education.
• Document care in the patient record and communicate with physicians.
