Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED.

Requirements include a nursing diploma or ADN, at least two years ER nursing, WA state RN license, current BLS/ACLS, with PALS within 6 months and TNCC within a year. BSN/MSN and CEN are preferred. Relocation assistance is available and a comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required.
• Minimum 2 years ER RN experience.
• WA State RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS at start date.
• PALS within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year.
• BSN/MSN and CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care and acts as a patient advocate.
• Assesses nursing needs for an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates patient and family education.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care with the team.
• Collaborates with physicians and other disciplines on care plans.
• Communicates patient information and safety issues to supervision.
• Documents changes in patient condition to nurse in charge.
