EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the established ED team in Kirkland, WA. The role involves direct nursing care, patient advocacy, and collaboration with physicians to deliver comprehensive care.

Ideal candidates hold a WA RN license with at least two years in an ED setting; BSN/MSN and CEN are preferred. The position offers wage ranges and relocation assistance as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN) required.
• Minimum of 2 years ER RN experience.
• Current WA State RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS required by start date; PALS and TNCC within timelines.
• BSN/MSN preferred; CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
• Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates the patient and family education process.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care with patient/family involvement.

Wage Range: $4 8.21- $87.11 per hour

EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the well- established and dynamic Emergency Department team.

Job Summary

Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Primary Duties

• Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
• Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.
• Continuously plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.
• Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.
• Communicates effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.
• Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required)
• Minimum of two-years current RN Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Current WA State Registered Nurse License
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS- American Heart Association by start date.
• Current Healthcare Provider ACLS- American Heart Association by start date.
• PALS within 6 months of hire and TNCC within a year of hire

Desired for this position:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• CEN certification is preferred.
