Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Restores and promotes patient health by completing the nursing process with assessment, goals, interventions and evaluation.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Identifies patient needs and provides emotional and spiritual support.
• Educates patients and families using appropriate resources.
• Administers medications and treatments per state law and policy.
• Maintains infection-control practices and medication safety.
• Documents care timely and accurately; protects patient information.
• Delegates tasks safely within scope of training; complies with DRH policy.
• Ensures equipment function and arranges maintenance or repairs.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and team-based problem solving.
