Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process: assessment, analysis, goal setting, interventions, and outcome evaluation.
• Collaborates with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
• Identifies patient/family education needs and provides information and support.
• Administers medications and treatments per state law and policy.
• Adheres to infection-control policies and ensures safety in every task.
• Documents care timely and accurately; maintains confidentiality.
• Delegates tasks safely within education and regulatory limits.
• Maintains equipment and performs preventive maintenance checks.
• Pursues continuing education and maintains professional knowledge.
• Communicates effectively within health care teams and supports problem solving.
• Adapts care to individual physical, cultural, and developmental needs.
