Job summary

DRH Health in Oklahoma seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care within the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications include an RN license in Oklahoma (or multisate), Associate or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, and BLS/NIHSS; ACLS/PALS are required or obtainable within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Communication skills in oral and written English; ability to document clearly.
• Basic computer skills including email and IT tools; use of EHR information tools.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; adaptable to urgent situations.
• Must be able to take call and respond within 45 minutes.
• RN license valid in Oklahoma; multistate licensure acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Restores and promotes patient health via the nursing process: assess, analyze, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Collaborates with physicians/providers and multidisciplinary team members.
• Identifies care needs and provides emotional, psychological, and spiritual support.
• Educates patients and families and utilizes resources to meet education needs.
• Administers medications/treatments per authorized prescriber; follows safety rules.
• Follows infection-control policies and safety protocols; manages meds storage.
• Documents care timely and accurately; maintains patient confidentiality.
• Delegates tasks safely; adheres to nursing practice act restrictions.
• Ensures equipment operates properly; requests repairs and evaluates new tech.
• Maintains professional knowledge through continuing education; participates in team problem-solving.
• Adapts care to patient’s physical, cultural, and age-specific needs.
