Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interview and gather complete demographic data to complete the registration process efficiently.
• Follows EMTALA regulations; medical screening exam (MSE) before insurance actions.
• Collects appropriate monies after the MSE and obtains authorization for treatment/admission.
• Obtains signatures on all registration forms and scans the forms.
• Completes insurance verification and breaks down charts for the appropriate departments.
