Qualifications

• One year of prior work experience
• AB508 Training within three months

• Medical terminology
• Previous Emergency Registration or hospital experience
• Basic EMTALA and triage knowledge
• Computer and typing skills
• Customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Interview and gather demographic data for registration
• Complete insurance verification and MSE before authorization
• Obtain signatures on forms and scan documents
• Coordinate room assignments and transfers
• Maintain accurate records in FUS and ICE Single Account
• Collect co-pays and monitor payments
