Responsibilities

Register patients for ED and ambulatory services, collecting demographics and insurance data.
Search for patient files and prevent duplicate records.
Explain forms and obtain signatures; ensure HIPAA compliance.
Schedule follow-up appointments and direct calls to ED.
Prepare and file patient charts with proper documentation.
Assist patients and staff with inquiries.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
