Job summary

Universal Health Services' Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is hiring a full-time Pharmacist for a Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm shift. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, you will provide drug information and support physicians and nursing staff in delivering appropriate therapy.

You will compound, prepare, mix, manufacture and dispense medicines, oversee pharmacy technicians, and stand in for the Pharmacist in Charge when needed.

Qualifications

• Maintains competency in all aspects of drug therapy for patients of all ages.
• Familiar with laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Experience with Pyxis systems and Pyxis Reports.

Responsibilities

• Provides drug information and supports physicians and nursing staff in therapy decisions.
• Compounds, prepares, mixes, manufactures and dispenses medicines.
• Oversees medications prepared by pharmacy technicians; may act as pharmacist in charge when needed.
