Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Pharmacist for a full-time, Monday–Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm shift. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist provides drug information and collaborates with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal therapy across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

The role includes compounding, preparing, mixing, manufacturing and dispensing medications, and supervising technicians.

Qualifications

• Maintains competency in all aspects of drug therapy for patients of all ages.
• Complies with laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Experience with Pyxis systems and Pyxis Reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide drug information to physicians and nursing staff for appropriate therapy.
• Compound, prepare, mix, and dispense medicines and preparations.
• Oversee medications prepared by pharmacy technicians; support lead pharmacist in charge when needed.
