Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA, is seeking a Pharmacist for a full-time 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shift. The Pharmacist will provide drug information and assist physicians and nursing staff in delivering appropriate therapy for pediatric to geriatric patients. Responsibilities include compounding, preparing, dispensing medicines, and supervising pharmacy technicians.

Minimum one year of pharmacist experience and a Pharm D. degree are preferred.

• Maintains competency in all aspects of drug therapy for patients of all ages.
• Knowledgeable of and complies with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Pyxis experience with Pyxis Reports.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Maintains competency in all aspects of drug therapy including factors related to patients of all age groups. Knowledgeable of and complies with laws, rules and regulations that govern the practice of pharmacy. Pyxis experience with knowledge of Pyxis Reports

Minimum Essential Experience

Minimum of 1-year experience as a pharmacist or Health System Residency completed.

Minimum Essential Education

Preferred 1-3 years of Hospital experience. Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm D.)

ASHP Accredited Residency Preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Current California Board of Pharmacy -Registered Pharmacist. Current BLS Certification (AHA) within 30 days of hire. Current ACLS Certification (AHA) within 30 days of hire. Current PALS Certification (AHA) within 60 days of hire.
