Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a pharmacist for a full-time, 2pm–10:30pm shift. The pharmacist will provide drug information, support physicians and staff, and oversee medications prepared by technicians.

Requirements include Pharm D, California license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Hospital experience is preferred. This role reports to the Director of Pharmacy in a busy health system.

Qualifications

• Maintains competency in drug therapy for patients of all ages.
• Knowledgeable of laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Experience with Pyxis systems and reports.
• 1 year hospital pharmacist experience; residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides drug information and assists physicians and nursing staff in drug therapy.
• Compounds, prepares, mixes, manufactures and dispenses medicines.
• Oversees medications prepared by pharmacy technicians; may act as pharmacist in charge when needed.
