Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of general policies and procedures of Patient Representative program, typically 3–6 months.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
• Advanced communication skills and familiarity with general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the Emergency Department.
• Direct patient flow and provide information to waiting room visitors.
• De-escalate situations and provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
