Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead the Emergency Department PAS team at Jacksonville's Town Center location. This full-time position focuses on accurate patient registration, regulatory compliance, and coordinating with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure smooth patient access.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in customer service and healthcare, plus leadership experience and knowledge of PAS operations, including EMTALA and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Customer Service experience required.
• 1–2 years of Healthcare experience required.
• 1–2 years of Insurance experience required.
• 1–2 years of Leadership experience required.
• 1–2 years of Patient Access Services experience required.
• 1–2 years of Patient Financial Services experience required.
• 1–2 years of Scheduling experience required.
• High School Diploma required; CHAA/CRCS within 90 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to the assigned Patient Access area in coordination with the PAS Manager.
• Register patients accurately and efficiently with required consent and compliance documents.
• Utilize multiple systems and train staff to support several Patient Access areas.
• Maintain service excellence with patients and visitors both in person and by phone.
• Support PAS goals, including collections and other performance measures.
