Responsibilities

• Understand regulatory requirements (HIPAA, EMTALA, OIG, CMS) and ensure compliance.
• Oversee PAS Registration staff and integrate with staff Registration program for efficiency.
• Ensure self-pay protocols and referral to financial counseling and Medicaid eligibility.
• Meet industry standards for registrations and POS collections; monitor monthly dashboard.
• Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly patient access reports and submit to leadership.
• Maintain trained staff and high accuracy from registration through discharge.
• Coach staff, coordinate training programs, and ensure staffing to meet demand.
• Communicate effectively departmental and organization information to staff.
