Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Paramedic to provide advanced patient care in the Emergency Department, Critical Care, or Respiratory settings under physician supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, protocol adherence, and effective communication with nursing and respiratory teams. The ideal candidate will hold Florida PMD certification with active BLS/ACLS (PALS within 1 year if applicable) and 2+ years of ED experience.

Qualifications

• Completed a Paramedic program and Florida PMD certification.
• Current BLS/Healthcare provider certification.
• ACLS certification required; PALS within one year of hire if applicable.
• Two years of Paramedic ED experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivers advanced patient care in the ED, Critical Care, or Respiratory settings as directed by supervisor.
• Complies with Florida paramedic practice model and hospital protocols.
• Communicates patient condition to RN, RT, ED/CCU or designee and documents care.
• Maintains patient safety, infection control, and appropriate handling of hazardous materials.
• Prioritizes tasks to ensure patient comfort, safety, and progress toward goals.
• Administers limited medications within education guidelines.
• Assists with patient movement and timely admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintains attendance and compliance with Orlando Health policies.
