Job summary

Corewell Health’s Ludington Hospital seeks a Nurse Tech for the Emergency Center on the night shift. The role supports RN and provider teams, performs basic patient care, takes vitals, monitors glucose, and ensures timely documentation. It offers a 36-hour weekly schedule across nights.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within 90 days. Orientation occurs on day shift before transitioning to nights.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
• Must be able to complete required orientation weeks on day shift prior to beginning the regular night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and monitor patients.
• Check blood glucose when indicated and document findings.
• Provide basic bedside care (bathing, ambulation, wound care, catheterization) and report observations to RN or Provider.
