Job summary

Corewell Health's Lakeland Hospital St Joseph is seeking a Nursing Technician to support the Emergency Center during night shifts. Under RN/Provider supervision you will perform basic nursing skills, observe patients, and communicate findings to the team.

The role requires a high school diploma and BLS certification (AHA or ARC) within 90 days. Part-time, nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 24 hours weekly, with variable weekend scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC) within 90 days.
• Ability to perform basic nursing tasks and observe patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports patients' physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs to the RN or Provider.
• Provides direct patient care under supervision, contributing to individualized care plans and accurate documentation.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient environment and communicates equipment issues to the proper department.
• Demonstrates ethical behavior and protects patient privacy and confidentiality.
