Job summary

Greenville Hospital's Emergency Center in Greenville, MI, part of Corewell Health, is seeking a Nurse Technician to support the RN in a busy ED. You will perform vitals, patient transport, and routine bedside care to help deliver timely, compassionate treatment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and relationship-based care, with a 36-hour week on a night shift from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or ARC is required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Patient care role within the emergency department under the direction of an RN to care for patients.
• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider.
• Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team.
• Nurse Tech responsibilities include taking vitals, checking blood sugars, bed baths, ambulating, wound care, catheterization and acting as a safety attendant for patients.
