Memorial Hermann is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team in delivering professional nursing care. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintaining medical records.

We categorize RN levels by experience (RN I/II 1-3 years; RN III 3-10 years; RN IV 10+ years) and require TX license or compact license plus BLS certification. Additional unit certifications may be required.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license or compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
• RN levels indicate experience: RN I/II = 1-3 years; RN III = 3-10 years; RN IV = 10+ years.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to the nursing skills inventory and patient age/needs.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions for patient care.
• Collaborates with and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data, research, and standards of care.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops/implements discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in systemic evaluation of programs and process improvements for client-centered outcomes.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies within budgetary specs.
• Promotes professional growth and may serve as preceptor/mentor to less experienced staff.
• Provides compassionate, personalized experiences to patients and colleagues.
