Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team in delivering patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care including assessments, assisting with exams and treatments, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.

Emphasis on ED experience and full-time night shift. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license (or temporary/compact license) to practice.
• Basic Life Support certification; additional unit-specific certifications may be required.
• RN levels correspond to experience: I (<1 yr), II (1–3 yrs), III (3–10 yrs), IV (10+ yrs).

Responsabilités

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatments, teaches patients.
• Maintains medical records and coordinates care with interdisciplinary team.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and MHHS policies; supports continuous improvement.
• May serve as preceptor or resource to less experienced staff.
