Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Texas is seeking an RN to provide professional nursing care in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process.

The role includes RN levels I–IV with experience ranging from newly licensed to 10+ years, and requires emphasis on safety, compassion, personalization, and efficiency. Evening shifts (3:00pm–3:00am) are included in a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to nursing skills and patient age/needs.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes.
• Coordinates treatment plans and develops discharge/transfer plans.
• Participates in program evaluation and process improvement to achieve client-centered outcomes.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies to ensure safety and quality.
