Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System in Naples, FL seeks a Manager for the Emergency Department to oversee daily operations, nursing care delivery, and staff management. You will foster excellence in patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance across quality, safety, growth and financial outcomes.

The role partners with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to optimize throughput, staff performance, and patient experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in appropriate state
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred
• 2–4 years in related field
• 2–4 years of leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily ED operations ensuring efficient patient flow and care quality.
• Supervises nursing and support staff in line with policies and guidelines.
• Collaborates with Director and teams to meet quality, safety and throughput goals.
• Coordinates with physicians and hospital leadership to optimize bed management.
• Responds to emergencies and staffing issues with decisive leadership.
