Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee daily operations in the emergency department. You will supervise staff, promote quality patient care, and collaborate with the Director to meet organizational goals.

The role requires an active RN licensure, an Associate Degree, and 1–3+ years of nursing leadership experience, with certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, and additional interventions completed within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• 1-3+ years of nursing leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the emergency department.
• Supervise assigned personnel and foster a collaborative environment.
• Lead planning, organizing, coaching, and facilitating department functions with the Director and staff.
• Help the Director meet JCAHO standards and ensure policy compliance.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Support appropriate resource management and customer satisfaction.
