Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Manager of Emergency Department for Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. This role leads the ED, coordinates daily activities, and ensures comprehensive patient care across departments and with external partners.

The position requires an RN license, BSN, and supervisory experience, with BLS, PALS, ACLS, and CEN preferred. NRPs may be required within 30 days; 88k–119k salary reflects total rewards and market rates.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid RN license.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• PALS upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
• BSN required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
• NRP certificate within 30 days upon hire (facility requirement).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management and coordination of the Emergency Department.
• Supervise and monitor performance of the ED staff.
• Interact with physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients and families to provide comprehensive care.
