Prime Healthcare is seeking a Manager of Emergency Department for Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. This role leads the ED, coordinates daily activities, and ensures comprehensive patient care across departments and with external partners.

The position requires an RN license, BSN, and supervisory experience, with BLS, PALS, ACLS, and CEN preferred. NRPs may be required within 30 days; 88k–119k salary reflects total rewards and market rates.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid RN license.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• PALS upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
• BSN required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
• NRP certificate within 30 days upon hire (facility requirement).

Responsibilities

Manager of Emergency Department is responsible for the day to day management and coordination of all activities in the Emergency Department. Supervises and monitors performance of the Emergency Department staff. Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):

1. Non-OB facilities: NRP certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
