Advocate Health is seeking an experienced ED nursing leader to coordinate resources and staff across a 24/7 Emergency Department. The role emphasizes optimizing staffing, equipment, and automated systems to deliver high-quality patient care.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing with about 5 years in emergency care and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong communication, collaboration with physicians, and governance participation are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Typically requires 5 years of ED experience with 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and manage resources to provide optimal nursing care, including staffing, supplies, and systems.
• Lead recruitment and retention efforts and mentor staff to advance practice and career growth.
• Develop orientation and continuing education programs and coach staff to achieve goals.
• Evaluate nursing care quality using Standards of Practice and outcomes, supporting performance improvement initiatives.
• Develop service strategies and monitor levels against targets to improve patient and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships across patients, families, staff, and other departments, acting as a liaison.
• Promote evidence-based practice and governance, driving changes through shared governance and councils.
• Assist in achieving care management, patient loyalty, and staff engagement targets.
