Job summary

Valleywise Health is seeking an Emergency Department nurse for our Maryvale location in Phoenix, AZ. You will provide rapid assessments, critical interventions, and stabilization for patients in a fast-paced ED, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving care.

This PM position includes an 18% shift differential on weekdays and 26% on weekends, with opportunities to grow professionally in a high-volume hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Must complete Valleywise Health New Graduate RN training or have acute nursing experience.
• AZ RN license or compact license in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NIHSS/NRP may be required based on area of practice.
• English reading/writing/speaking required; comfortable with basic computer tasks to use EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessments, critical interventions, and stabilization in the ED.
