Job summary

Fountain Hills Medical Center seeks an Emergency Department RN (7a-7p PRN) to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a brand-new community micro-hospital setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and assisting physicians during emergencies.

Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, active AZ RN or Compact license, and 2 years of ER experience, plus BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients to gain cooperation.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during treatment and examination.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervisor or physician.
• Document nursing history and assessments for assigned patients.
• Rotate among OB, surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, psychiatry as needed.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during care.
