Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, is seeking experienced Emergency Department Float Pool Registered Nurses to provide flexible staffing across ED and acute care areas.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with 36 weekly hours, earning $37.45–$57.29 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a 10% float differential. A BSN is required, with BLS and 1+ year RN experience; day/night options available.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice; compact licenses accepted if transferring within 60 days.
• Minimum one year RN experience in emergency or acute care settings preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• BSN degree required; BSN must be obtained within four years if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in fast-paced emergency settings.
• Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritize care, and initiate interventions.
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
