Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in a clinical operations or clinical engineering setting is preferred; expert knowledge of clinical equipment is desirable.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment; strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of clinical engineering policies, clinical operations, and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Inventory Management - ensures the availability of an adequate inventory of equipment to meet ED demands; develop mechanisms to identify equipment in need of repair.
• Inventory and storage area maintenance: keep equipment organized and inventory accurate; ensure regulatory compliance and proper stocking.
• Facilities maintenance: assist with general facilities repairs and security/safety systems.
• Supplies Management: handle unit supply areas, process emergency orders, and coordinate with staff and vendors.
• Customer Service: serve as a resource to clinical staff for equipment use and support.
• Professional Development: stay up to date with new equipment and participate in staff training.
