Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking an Equipment Inventory Technician for the ED to ensure an adequate supply of functional equipment and timely repairs. You will collaborate with clinical engineering, nursing leadership, and facilities to maintain availability and reliability of critical devices.

Responsibilities include tracking inventory, coordinating repairs, and supporting supply management and patient care operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in a clinical operations or clinical engineering setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment inventory to ensure adequate availability.
• Track repairs and coordinate return to service of equipment.
• Maintain storage areas and regulatory compliance.
• Procure and stock equipment accessories and supplies.
• Serve as a liaison to clinical staff for equipment use.
